Children's Ministries
We believe lasting faith begins with truth, grows through love, and thrives in a life powered by God. Our purpose is to proclaim who God is, inspire a deep love for Him, and equip children to walk with Him daily.
We're a place where kids love to come, parents are confident to bring them, and church members are excited to lead and serve. In our safe, joyful, and nurturing environment, children discover God's truth in ways that make sense for their age and their world. Because we know kids learn best through play, we make learning about God fun, meaningful, and memorable.

Children's Nursery (6 weeks old through 6th grade)
Peace of Mind, Joyful Little Hearts: We know leaving your little one is a big deal. That's why our nursery offers a clean, safe, and joy-filled space where babies (6 weeks to 3 years old) are loved, engaged, and cared for. With music, stories, crafts, and play, every moment points them to God's love.
Pre-K & Kindergarten
Big Truths for Little Hearts: In our preschool ministry, we partner with families to lay strong spiritual foundations. Through hands-on crafts and creative storytelling, kids discover who God is and how to know Him as Maker, Savior, and Friend. Every lesson helps them grow in faith, worship, and wonder in ways just right for their age.
1st - 6th Grade
Understanding How it All Began: This year, our 1st-6th graders are diving into the book of Genesis through the Nazarene Kids Bible Quizzing program. Along the way, they’ll build a love for studying God's Word and learn how to explore the Bible for themselves. MORE INFO
Guardians of the Children
Grown-Ups Need Community Too!: While the kids are having a blast in their classes, we've got a space just for you. Come hang out, connect with other parents and guardians, swap stories, share laughs, and grow together. It's a relaxed, come-as-you-are environment where we do life side by side because parenting was never meant to be a solo journey.

Angels Aware: Our kids are joyfully preparing for the musical Angels Aware, a heavenly production set to be performed on December 14th! This delightful show takes place in heaven, where curious angels gather to learn about God's incredible plan for the very first Christmas. Through music, storytelling, and fun characters, kids will explore the wonder of Jesus' birth and what it means for the world -past, present, and future. MORE INFO
Guardians of the Children

Caravan is a weekly kids' club committed to the physical, social, mental, and spiritual growth of children. It uses an active, hands-on learning approach to help kids discover, develop, experience, and grow. MORE INFO

AZ Nazarene Kids Camp
In June
GRADES: 3–6 (just finished 2nd–6th)
VBS
One week each year in June for any child from 3 years old to 5th grade. Snacks are provided.
Your child will learn about God through fun Bible stories, recreation, and music. This will help your child learn how to be a good person and a friend to others. Younger children will get a feel for camp without having to go away overnight. Open to all!
- Each child must be registered.
- Each child must have a Youth-Child Activity Consent form submitted in person by their parent or guardian. Connect with Pastor Debbie Hallman for the forms.
RELEASE FORMS
Download the Master Release Form before your child attends any Tempe Children’s offsite events. Complete and return it to Pastor Debbie Hallman. This task must be completed annually. January is considered the start of the year.
