Denise, who grew up at TNC, has a rich family history in ministry, as both a pastor's child and grandchild (twice over). She even married into a family with a similar background. Her journey into becoming a pastor herself began after some years teaching middle school. Now, she's the proud parent of five kids, all pastor's children, reflecting her deep love for God and His children.

She's been happily married to Steve since 1973 and has a strong passion for teaching and actively engaging with the Tempe community. In her spare time, you'll find her engrossed in a good book, strumming the ukulele, honing her guitar skills, and expressing herself through painting.

Denise firmly believes that everyone has a unique story to share, and she's always eager to hear yours!

Pastor Debbie is a fixture in our young children's lives. They know her office door is always open so they can get a hug or share their victories and challenges. She teaches kids that God knows and loves every single one of them. They see that love in action because Debbie knows the name and circumstances of every child. She directs all children's activities from birth to sixth grade and she's the Director of Tempe Christian PreSchool. 

Debbie exudes incredible energy and a positive attitude, which have helped her while teaching VBS, Sunday School, summer camps, and Camp Meeting. She has completed her Associate of Science degree in Early Education. She's s been a part of our TNC family since 1983 and the Children's Pastor for over two decades.

Debbie and her husband Van were married in 1977. They have five children and ten grandchildren, all of whom are well loved.

In 2021, Ryan Brown achieved ordination as an Elder within the Church of the Nazarene. His profound commitment lies in youth ministry, a cause he champions passionately. Ryan's primary mission is to empower teenagers in nurturing their connections with God and the Church, with a strong emphasis on Scripture, prayer, and discipleship. He firmly believes that teenagers require a supportive environment where they can truly BELONG, fostering friendships, discovering their faith through the Word of God, and putting their faith into practice through acts of SERVICE, mirroring the love they have received from God.

In his personal life, Ryan is happily married to Monica, and together they are proud parents of a daughter.

Tony Brown, holding the esteemed status of an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene since 2018, is driven by an unwavering passion. His fervor centers on facilitating a profound, personal connection between young adults and Jesus, ultimately inspiring them to radiate that love to the broader world.

Tony's life journey is equally inspiring. He embarked on this path with his junior high sweetheart, Laura, forming a love that has stood the test of time. Together, they have been blessed with four children, forging a loving and dynamic family unit.

Robin is our office administrator. Her role involves managing the office and providing support to the pastors and staff. She is responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently, from answering phones to coordinating events and maintaining records. Robin is a true professional who always goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone who walks through the doors of the church feels welcome and cared for. If you ever need assistance or have a question, don't hesitate to reach out to Robin. She is always happy to help and will do everything she can to ensure that your experience at Tempe Nazarene Church is a positive one.

She's been married to her husband Geron Walters since 1979 and has four grown sons, four daughter-in-laws and nine grandchildren. Outside of work, Robin enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading. She is an avid reader and loves to explore new places and cultures. Robin is also actively involved in her community and volunteers her time with local organizations. Her dedication to serving others is a true inspiration to everyone who knows her.

TNC and TCPS have been a part of my life since the late 60s when my family arrived in the Valley. I met and married my husband, Ralph, at TNC. We have two sons and two wonderful (aren’t they all) grandchildren. I’ve had the privilege of being involved in various ministries at TNC including Caravan, Healthcare Ministries, NMI, and the TCPS board. My careers have been as an administrative assistant/support staff in the banking industry and as a REALTOR®. I’m happy to be an administrative assistant for the church and school. The Lord has guided me this far and I will follow wherever He leads.

Jerimee Aaron has been an integral member of Tempe Nazarene since 1995, contributing his expertise in various ministry capacities throughout his tenure. Presently, he holds the position of Assistant Director at Tempe Christian Preschool and serves as the Facilities Director for TNC. Notably, Jerimee has also assumed the role of interim Worship Leader.

Beyond his professional commitments, Jerimee dedicates his leisure time to a range of activities. He indulges in culinary endeavors, hosting gatherings for his loved ones, and finds joy in playing the piano. Additionally, he's an avid builder, finding creative expression through constructing with Legos. Jerimee's passion for quality family time is evident in his visits to Disney with his loved ones.

Ralph Messner's contributions to technology at TempeNaz extend back to the 1980s, commencing with his involvement in sound and lighting, directing the choir, and leading worship during the 80s and 90s. In 1996, he took the initiative to establish the church's website, a role he managed diligently until 2009. Additionally, Ralph has been instrumental in managing the church's Audio Visual resources, ensuring the seamless operation of these essential components.

Recently, Ralph joined TNC in an official capacity, lending his expertise to enhance the utilization of diverse Information Technologies, which aligns seamlessly with his overarching mission of "By all means reach some.”

Ralph's personal life is deeply intertwined with his church community. He and his wife, Karen, first crossed paths at TempeNaz, and together they have raised two grown sons, one of whom is actively engaged in serving the church's outreach effort, The Table. This next generation of service is already taking root, as Ralph and Karen are proud grandparents to two grandsons.
